Obito turned to look at Madara suspiciously, a hint of unease in his eyes. Madara was puzzled too. Hashirama's Wood Release was his own ability, not the Senju Clan's kekkei genkai. Even if descendants of the Uchiha and Senju intermarried, they still couldn't acquire Wood Release.
Madara Uchiha could use Wood Release because, during his final battle with Hashirama, he had bitten a chunk of flesh right off Hashirama Senju. Through sheer ability and determination, Madara Uchiha had forcibly integrated it into his own body, gaining Wood Release from then on.

Madara Uchiha had thought of "Hashirama cells," while Orochimaru, standing beside him-the very man who had developed those "Hashirama cells"-refused to take the blame for this one.
At first, he too had believed Chinatsu was the product of integrating Hashirama cells, much like his own creation, "Yamato."

Orochimaru knew this, but he kept quiet. After all, he wanted to use them against Chinatsu. They had to be working with incomplete information. Only if both sides battered each other could he find an opportunity to seize Chinatsu's body.
Madara Uchiha thought for a moment, then stopped dwelling on it. Rather than use incomplete information to speculate about an uncertain conclusion, it would be quicker and more effective to meet Chinatsu and experience her Wood Release firsthand. Of course, the
