The Konoha delegation had barely arrived in the Land of Whirlpools and seen any of the sights before they were ushered into a hotel. Even someone as wise as Might Guy could tell something was off.
Might Guy walked slowly over to the window in his room, opened it, and stuck his entire head outside.
He surveyed his surroundings. Although the Land of Whirlpools had plenty of incredible sights to admire, the "enormous thing" covered in a white sheet was simply too conspicuous. Might Guy stared at it for a long time, lost in thought.
What was that thing?
As he pondered, Might Guy lifted a foot, intending to step onto the window railing and leap down. But just before he did, he suddenly realized that this might be a little uncivilized. He quietly lowered his raised foot again.
"Ahem. They're always saying I'm too crude. How am I crude? I'm just too enthusiastic." Might Guy cleared his throat loudly and grumbled under his breath.
Just as Might Guy tried to switch his youthful brain into civilized mode to think things through, the window of the room next door slid open with a clatter! Dressed in a black robe, Hiruzen Sarutobi leaped straight out and landed with remarkable agility.
Hmph. Naruto and Sasuke must be hiding something. Otherwise, why would they send visiting Social Ambassadors straight to a hotel?
Hiruzen Sarutobi grumbled to himself. He had grown up being cunning and calculating from childhood. If Naruto and Sasuke's little schemes couldn't even fool Might Guy, how could they possibly fool him?
As soon as he landed, he raised his head to look at the enormous thing beneath the white sheet. His sharp mind told him that whatever Naruto and Sasuke were hiding definitely had something to do with it.
