"Utopia? I wouldn't go that far."
Hearing Otsutsuki Toneri praise the Land of Whirlpools so highly despite her hands-off approach to running it, Chinatsu gave a faint chuckle and shook her head.
Utopia was an imagined ideal kingdom, a perfect society free of corruption and evil, filled with justice, fairness, harmony, and happiness.
Such a social structure sounded wonderful, but in reality, it was also an unhealthy society that would lead people into complacency, leaving them no longer seeking change, innovation, or improvement.
Now that Chinatsu had become one with the entire shinobi world, she felt the changes in her mindset more and more keenly. Her core consciousness remained the same, but her way of thinking had transformed.
She no longer viewed everything purely from a "human" perspective. More often, she considered whether something required her intervention from the standpoint of the "world."
Perhaps this was the price of becoming a "god"?
But if that truly was the price, Chinatsu could only say it was nothing much. It couldn't disturb her peace of mind in the slightest. The idle fish great dao had long since laid an unsurpassed foundation for her state of mind.
Otsutsuki Toneri looked at the utterly serene Chinatsu. To his eyes, the words "enlightened master" seemed to be shining in brilliant gold above her head.
Our levels are worlds apart...
Otsutsuki Toneri's heart stirred, and he followed Chinatsu's gaze back down toward the Land of Whirlpools, which he had praised as a utopia.
Without the beauty filter of his "first impression," Otsutsuki Toneri studied the country below more deeply.
Indeed, calling it a utopia wasn't quite right.
Yet the Land of Whirlpools before him truly held a strange appeal. He wanted to experience it properly and discover exactly what made it so compelling.
