"Huh???!!!"
Hidan's eyes widened in shock as he let out a long, drawn-out "Huuuh?" Beside him, Kakuzu looked just as incredulous.
She actually came here... to recruit us?
Hahaha! Is this person an idiot?
"I don't care what organization I belong to. I worship the great Lord Jashin. As for what organization I serve, that just depends on whether it can bring me pleasure. But~ whoever's above me absolutely can't be weak~"
Hidan laughed loudly, staring at Chinatsu with disdain. Most of the Akatsuki's members had been subdued by the might of Pain's Deva Path, so strength was essential if she wanted them to change masters.
"Don't worry. I'm strong."
Chinatsu answered with narrowed eyes, but she still looked like Gekko Hayate, so her words weren't particularly convincing.
Gekko Hayate: Do I really look that much like a background extra?!
Chinatsu: Uh... yes, you do.
Hidan grinned, scythe in hand, and lowered his stance slightly. In his eyes, "Gekko Hayate" had become nothing more than prey.
"Then let's see just how strong you are!"
Hidan pushed off the ground and charged at Chinatsu at tremendous speed. Now that the fight had begun in earnest, she certainly couldn't maintain the Transformation Technique. White smoke burst outward, and Chinatsu shot out with a kunai in hand. Her kunai clashed with his scythe.
"Ooh~ a real beauty, too~"
Despite his words, Hidan had little interest in women. To a cultist whose mind was filled with nothing but killing, women and men were no different.
Hidan swung his giant scythe at Chinatsu in a frenzy, but she was more agile. She parried his strikes with ease, never giving the blade even the slightest chance to nick her skin.
Hidan had been born in the Land of Hot Water and worshipped the Jashin Cult's god.
