After seeing the fake Shuichi Akai in action, Gin felt a chill in his heart. His desire to kill this old flame grew even stronger.
"Korn, Chianti, kill Shuichi Akai at all costs."
As he spoke, Gin raised his sniper rifle again. Just then, a gunshot rang out behind him, followed by... a stab of agony in his kidney.
He looked back and saw a bewildered Chianti pointing her gun at his kidney. Smoke still drifted from the muzzle. She had clearly fired that shot.
Korn immediately aimed his gun at Chianti.
"Chianti..." Gin gritted his teeth, fighting the searing pain in his lower back. "Are you a traitor too...?"
Feeling Gin's icy killing intent, Chianti hurriedly lowered her sniper rifle.
"Gin... I... I've wanted to kill you for ages... but... that shot definitely wasn't me. Just now, I felt like someone was controlling me!"
