Without waiting for Jirōbō to speak, Naruto formed a one-handed seal. A whirlwind wrapped around her and Kisame Hoshigaki, and they vanished before Jirōbō's eyes.
"Ku! Are you all right?" Jirōbō rushed to Ku's side and looked at him with concern.
"Lord Jirōbō, I'm fine. My arm has returned to normal too, really." Ku got up energetically and showed Jirōbō his arm. Then everything before his eyes grew blurry and dark. His body swayed, and he finally collapsed into Jirōbō's arms. Jirōbō hurriedly placed his fingers beneath Ku's nose. Feeling that Ku was still breathing, he examined him carefully and discovered that Ku had merely fallen asleep.
"So he was asleep."
Jirōbō breathed a sigh of relief and carried Ku away. Now that the Nine-Tails' Chakra was no longer inside Ku, there was no need to keep him locked up here to prevent him from going berserk.
Hair Is the True Body (1/2)
Not long after Naruto and Kisame Hoshigaki left the Temple of Fire, Naruto's ability to sense good and evil, inherited from the Nine-Tails, detected hostile people rapidly approaching them across the wilderness. "Sanba Reading"
"Kisame, enemies." Naruto reminded Kisame Hoshigaki, then stopped and waited for the enemies to arrive. She wanted to know who had traveled all this way to throw their lives away.
"Let's see who's so blind."
Kisame Hoshigaki grinned and reached out to grip Samehada. "How long until the enemies get here?"
"Less than a minute."
Naruto glanced at Yoru, who was sleeping soundly on her back. She poked Yoru's cheek with a finger. Yoru's cheeks puffed slightly from the poking, and she muttered something drowsily. Then a bone spur growing from her cheek pricked Naruto's finger before she could pull it away, making the corner of Naruto's mouth twitch in pain.
