Yang Chang'an awakened the Soul Breaking Spear, gained his first Soul Ring, and chose to align the Yang Family with the Worship Hall. Demon Bear Douluo then forced Yang Chang'an and Niu Wenchuan into its training camp after brutally injuring Yang Wushuang and Niu Yue, leaving Yang Chang'an vowing revenge.

• Yang Wushuang surrendered the Breaking Clan to Spirit Hall to protect its survivors, and Yang Chang'an grew up determined to carry on the clan's heritage.

Yang Chang'an entered the Worship Hall’s training camp, became Qianjun Douluo’s disciple, and reshaped his approach to the Soul Breaking Spear. As Yang Chang'an and Yang Wushuang grew stronger, the arc ended with Qianjun Douluo preparing to take Yang Chang'an, Li'er, and Yang Wushuang to the Star Dou Great Forest for soul rings.

• Yang Wushuang sent Yang Chang'an and Niu Wenchuan to the Worship Hall, where they joined the recruits and learned that only ten would earn the right to cultivate there.
• After Yang Chang'an lost his first combat assessment, Qianjun Douluo identified flaws in his spear and helped him understand that his cautious mindset conflicted with the Soul Breaking Spear.
• Yang Chang'an accepted Qianjun Douluo as his master and resolved to wield his spear fearlessly to protect his clan.
• Yang Chang'an applied his new understanding in a duel with Shi Hao, breaking through Shi Hao’s defenses and establishing himself among the trainees’ strongest fighters.
• Yang Chang'an returned home, where Yang Wushuang recovered, advanced to rank seventy-nine, and explained how his changed conviction now centered on protecting the Yang Family and Breaking Clan.
• Yang Wushuang trained Yang Chang'an during his time at home, while Niu Yue and Niu Wenchuan joined them to discuss the families’ future prospects in the Worship Hall and beyond.
