The surroundings were utterly quiet, without a single light. Even the chirping of insects was sparse, and there was no sign of anyone being there.
"It's me..." Louis arrived at the abandoned warehouse under cover of night with Little Black and Little White and knocked on the sheet-metal door.
A faint noise suddenly came from inside the previously silent warehouse.
Just beyond the door, someone was watching them through a gap in the metal.
The next second, a metallic clatter broke the nighttime silence, and the sheet-metal door opened.
There was no light inside the warehouse, making it considerably darker than outside.
Louis glanced in several directions, then stepped inside.
Little Black and Little White exchanged a glance before following him in.

As the iron door slammed shut, the faint movements around them grew restless. Accompanied by a slight scent of blood, pairs of blood-red eyes slowly opened, looking eerie in the dim surroundings.
"..." Kurona Yasuhisa and Nashiro Yasuhisa revealed their kakugan as well, keeping watch on either side, each tightly clutching a blood-red crystal in her palm.
"The same scent as that boy who came to Ward 24 last time... One-eyed? They're practically legends, yet you have three of them around you."
