At noon, Huang Zhetian received a call from Misato.
Misato's slightly languid voice came over the phone. "Hey, Huang Zhetian. The parts your Special Unit needs arrived from Europe early this morning. Assembly has already started, so it should be operational again soon."
Huang Zhetian was surprised by the news. He had thought the parts for repairing the Special Unit would not arrive until after the Fifth Angel.
He had never expected them to be shipped to Japan's NERV Headquarters so quickly.
Huang Zhetian asked Misato, "Didn't you say repairs to the Special Unit would take one or two weeks? Why was it so fast?"
Misato answered in a complimentary tone. "Hey, it's because you've proven how good you are at defeating Angels. That's why they sent them over so quickly. Anyway, Shinji will be heading to your school shortly. He's in your class, so help him out."
Looking at the green leaves on the tree outside the window, Huang Zhetian agreed. "Sure. That's only natural. I know what to do even without you telling me."
Misato chuckled, exchanged a few pleasantries with Huang Zhetian, then hung up.
Toji and Kensuke came over from nearby and asked, "Was that a call from Miss Misato?"
Seeing their lecherous expressions, Huang Zhetian said irritably, "Auntie Misato wants us to look after the new student. The one I mentioned earlier-Shinji Ikari."
With an ingratiating look, Toji patted his chest and assured Huang Zhetian, "Leave it to me! A mission from Miss Misato is something I'm duty-bound to carry out!"
Kensuke pushed his glasses up with his index finger, the reflected light hiding his eyes. "Then let's give him our warmest welcome!"
