I still intend to keep writing this book, so leave your comments here. When I return, I'll like them one by one. Don't give up, everyone. I won't give up either.

Let me give you a small spoiler: the soul inside the Special Unit is Huang Zhetian's original self. Huang Zhetian's Wall of the Heart isn't powerful; what is powerful is the Special Unit's AT Field. Huang Zhetian and the Special Unit work together the way Shinji and Unit-01 do, but their partnership is also different. It comes down to compatibility.

Huang Zhetian's original self is someone even more despairing, tormented, and withdrawn than Shinji.

Huang Zhetian's original self taking part in the experiment is also part of NERV and SEELE's plan.

During the year I'm away, please don't let negative feelings get to you. Don't suspect that I've abandoned this book. I've been saying this since the beginning.

I want to finish this book and give it a perfect ending. I want to stay true to every word the characters say in the original, and every subtle movement and detail.

I want to portray their feelings and psychological states in great detail, making sure every character feels like flesh and blood...

Huang Zhetian isn't a perfect protagonist. He has flaws, vulnerabilities, and shortcomings. He isn't like other male leads, ruthless and decisive, unleashing his skills and ultimate moves as soon as he has them.

Interfering outright without considering how the plot unfolds or what the characters are thinking, killing the main villain just because you know the ending-that makes no sense.

I've never written that way either. It's not that I can't, but that I don't want to. If I wrote like that, I'd go against the original and lose its flavor and feel.

With a work like Eva,
