My sleep schedule has been upside down lately, and I've been feeling awful. I only woke up at nine, so I won't be able to get today's update out in time.
I'm taking a day off.
Come to think of it, I haven't had a break in nearly three months, since February. I'm starting to feel mentally drained.
And longtime readers probably know this already: whenever the seasons change, I either catch a cold or get dizzy. I'm getting old.
At 6,000 characters a day, I've pretty much run out of stockpiled chapters.
I write slowly. Three chapters take me eight hours.
I've also been a little stuck lately-not on the plot, but on how to approach writing each chapter.
Getting the words onto the page is a major issue. You've all seen it too: over the year and a half I've been writing, my style has changed a lot.
Especially lately. That's been more true than ever.
I can't write too many fight scenes, and I have to bring something fresh to them.
I can't write too many slice-of-life chapters either, but I can't have high-level showdowns every single day.
If I write too many high-level showdowns, they stop feeling high-level.
It really has me scratching my head.
I hope you'll keep supporting me, so I can see that the work I've poured my heart and soul into is something you enjoy.
Just wanted to ramble for a bit.
Thank you!
