I couldn't keep this up anymore.
Since the 24th of last month, I'd been posting ten thousand characters a day for over a month straight, and I was starting to buckle.
Over the past week, my shoulders and back had started aching. It was too hot this morning, so I turned on the air conditioner and went back to sleep. When I woke up, the tendons around my left shoulder blade hurt like hell. [As I write this, I hope readers will remember our website address. Come here for good books-it's super convenient.]
I needed a break.
There will only be four chapters today. Starting tomorrow, including the day after and throughout next month, I'll return to three chapters on odd-numbered days and four on even-numbered days.
I'll set aside some time to think through the plot, then trim the filler from some earlier chapters, condensing and rewriting them.
