He paid no mind to Crocodile's words. After all, hardly anyone ever came to this underground palace, let alone such a hidden place.
Perhaps Crocodile also thought he had merely imagined it. He did not dwell on it and continued, "It's nothing. Let's go!"
However, Junhe had already reached the deepest part of the underground palace. The moment he entered the enormous main hall, he found what his king had sent him to look for.
A square Poneglyph stood in the hall of the underground palace. It was roughly five meters tall. After hundreds of years, aside from a layer of dust, it showed no other signs of age.
Most importantly, the writing on it remained clearly visible even after all these years, as though it had never suffered any weathering or erosion.
Before Crocodile and the others came down, Junhe quickly found a place where he could conceal himself. He wanted to see just what these two were plotting.
Crocodile led Robin straight toward the Poneglyph. The moment he saw the square stone before him, he could no longer suppress his excitement.
"Robin, explain what it says, now!"
Crocodile asked anxiously.
"I can't interpret all the writing yet, but I can understand most of it. It mainly describes the location of the Ancient Weapon, Pluton. However, there are still many characters I haven't fully deciphered. I'll need quite some time."
Robin said with a smile, stroking the square Poneglyph as though she were feeling the allure of its words.
Hidden in the darkness, Junhe shuddered uncontrollably the instant he heard Robin say that the Poneglyph concerned the Ancient Weapon Pluton. His eyes instantly turned red, and his fists clenched tight.
"Who is it? If you have the guts to hide here, why don't you dare come out?"
