Ch. 1Genji Chōno

Genji Chōno, the Tru Kingdom’s young prince, discovered that his world was the world of pirates when his attendants rescued a stranded pirate who revealed himself as a Devil Fruit user. Genji recognized the pirate’s weakness and ordered the guards to push him into the sea, leaving the pirate incapacitated on the shore.

  • A maid spotted a man drifting toward the beach, and Genji ordered his guards to rescue him.
  • Genji gave the weakened pirate fruit, but the pirate threatened to eat him after recovering enough to speak.
  • The pirate used his Devil Fruit power to make nearby plants attack Genji’s guards.
  • Genji told the guards that the pirate was vulnerable to seawater and urged them to push him into the sea.
  • The pirate bound three guards with wood, but he stepped into the seawater, lost his strength, and collapsed.

Ch. 2Devil Fruit

Nova killed a weakened pirate in the water and discovered that an apple had transformed into a Devil Fruit, then activated the system in his mind. He learned that the system was the Myriad Worlds Mall, which exchanged equivalent items from the Pirate World.

  • Nova ordered his bodyguards to throw the weakened pirate into deeper water, then stabbed him while holding a fruit platter nearby.
  • An apple on the platter transformed into a Devil Fruit, and a system voice announced that Nova could activate it.
  • Nova hurried back to the palace, where Marine Rear Admiral Sakazuki recognized the Devil Fruit and Admiral Zephyr told Nova to use it to protect his people.
  • Zephyr informed King Genji that the Marines were conducting a major operation and demanded secrecy, while King Genji agreed helplessly.
  • Nova returned to his room and activated the system, which identified itself as the Myriad Worlds Mall and offered equivalent items from the Pirate World for exchange.

Ch. 3System

Nova unlocked the Myriad Worlds System, exchanged the nearby Devil Fruit for the currency needed to open a beginner's gift pack, and began a punishing decade-long training regimen. Years later, as the Great Pirate Era brought growing danger and hardship to the Tru Kingdom, fourteen-year-old Nova started handling state affairs while his aged father lay near death.

  • Nova used one Beli to open the beginner's gift pack and received Top-tier Three Haki and Marine Six Styles training methods, along with daily exercise requirements for ten years.
  • Nova told the old King that he had thrown away the Devil Fruit, then learned that Marines were searching the country for the Pirate King's wife.
  • Nova began training every day, gradually completing his ten-kilometer run and earning the admiration of the royal ministers for his perseverance.
  • After the Pirate King was executed, pirate activity increased around the Tru Kingdom, worsening its already poor economy and causing casualties.
  • By the eighth year, Nova was fourteen and began handling state affairs while spending much of his remaining time beside the bedridden old King.

Ch. 4Tru Kingdom

Nova proposed turning the Tru Kingdom into a perfume-producing country to improve its economy, then visited his ailing father, who gave him a treasure map. The chapter left Nova facing a pirate force at Naniwa Port after arriving to assess the standoff.

  • Nova proposed planting flowers and fragrant herbs across the Tru Kingdom and paying residents for their harvest so they could produce and sell perfume.
  • Nova persuaded the elderly ministers to help carry out his plan for two more years while a younger generation was trained.
  • Nova visited the old King, promised to strengthen the kingdom, demonstrated his power, and received a treasure map.
  • A guard reported that around a thousand pirates had appeared at Naniwa Port, where about five hundred kingdom troops were stationed.
  • Nova arrived at Naniwa Port, where Junhe stood facing seven or eight pirate ships.

Ch. 5Thousand-Man Pirate Crew

Nova and Junhe defeated a thousand pirates, captured their ships and supplies, and planned to put the prisoners to work for the Tru Kingdom. After the old king died, Nova prepared to take the throne, facing the responsibility of ruling alone.

  • Nova told Junhe to capture the pirates and preserve their ships, then Junhe led his trained soldiers across the air to board the enemy fleet.
  • Nova kicked the pirate captain Lord Defamo unconscious, and Junhe's forces captured 951 pirates and eight ships.
  • Junhe ordered the ships converted into merchant vessels and paraded the captured pirates before the citizens to show that the Tru Kingdom could protect them.
  • One month later, the old king died of old age, leaving Nova as his only heir.
  • Nova spent the night reflecting on the burden of becoming king, then appeared in royal robes before the assembled court the next morning.

Ch. 6Demon Blade Muramasa

After ascending the throne, Nova set out his plans to develop the Tru Kingdom and rejected joining the World Government because of its Celestial Gold demands. A system lottery gave him the Demon Blade Muramasa, and he decided to seek swordsmanship and investigate a treasure marked on a parchment from his father.

  • Nova became king, thanked the ministers, and assigned Junhe responsibility for the Tru Kingdom’s security.
  • Nova ordered a nationwide census and expanded the plan to grow flowers and plants for a perfume industry, while Junhe reassured Lord Dongwa that Nova was purchasing grain.
  • Nova rejected joining the World Government after the ministers discussed the burden of paying Celestial Gold, and the people began planting flowers and other crops.
  • Nova used the system’s lottery and received the Demon Blade Muramasa, which bonded with him despite his lack of swordsmanship.
  • Nova found that the Flying Dragon Sword Style cost more than he could afford and considered searching for the mountain treasure recorded on his father’s parchment.

Ch. 7A Chance Encounter with Garp

Nova followed the Treasure Map toward Shiwu Mountain in Battlila to investigate a possible treasure, while inspecting the hardship faced by people in the Tru Kingdom. He encountered Garp at sea, declined his offer to join the Marines, and continued on as Garp privately noted the strength of Nova’s crew.

  • Nova showed Junhe the Treasure Map, learned its location was Battlila near the Roa Kingdom, and ordered a journey there.
  • Nova sailed with Junhe and Reina, observed the people’s poor conditions along the coast, and told his crew not to reveal their abilities when a Marine warship appeared.
  • Nova recognized Garp aboard the warship and ordered his ship to avoid contact, but Garp used Geppo to board their deck.
  • Garp offered Nova a place in the Marines, but Nova declined because he needed to lead the Tru Kingdom.
  • Garp returned to his warship and told Tsuru that Nova’s crew had unusually solid physical training comparable to skilled Marines.

Ch. 8Treasure?

Nova led his group across Battila Island to seek the treasure, but they became trapped in a strange forest that made them circle the same giant tree. After struggling to subdue Demon Blade Muramasa, Nova slashed the tree and seemingly broke the forest’s strange effect.

  • Nova told Junhe that the Marines’ secret Six Powers training system was what he had taught the kingdom’s soldiers, then considered why Garp had come to the South Blue and suspected it was connected to Bartoll.
  • Nova anchored near Battila Island overnight so the ship would not alarm the residents, then led Junhe and nearly twenty others into the forest to follow the Treasure Map.
  • Nova and his group realized they had been walking in circles around a massive tree in a silent, sweltering forest, and Nova refused to let anyone separate.
  • Nova drew Demon Blade Muramasa and struggled for nearly half an hour to bring its bloodthirsty aura under control.
  • Nova slashed the giant tree with Muramasa, and a sound like shattering glass rang out as the oppressive heat vanished and a breeze passed through the forest.

Ch. 9The Face of the Treasure

Nova and Junhe searched the mountain for the treasure marked on the map, overcoming a strange path and finding a hidden hollow beneath the summit. There, Nova recognized an enormous weapon and warned Junhe that revealing it could plunge the Tru Kingdom into war.

  • After the fallen tree opened a path through the forest, Nova led the group toward the treasure site.
  • Nova realized the path was trapping the group in a loop, so he and Junhe used Geppo to fly to the mountaintop.
  • Nova and Junhe searched the summit but found no treasure until Nova sat on a loose stone that revealed a hollow beneath the mountain.
  • Nova and Junhe descended through the hollow and discovered an enormous black weapon beneath the mountain.
  • Nova warned Junhe to keep the discovery secret because news of the weapon could bring war to the Tru Kingdom.

Ch. 10Ancient Weapon—Pluton

Nova and Junhe discovered the ancient weapon Pluton beneath a mountain in the Tru Kingdom and kept its existence secret. Two years later, after the kingdom prospered, Nova set out with Gogoya to recover a cargo ship stolen by pirates, but he first demanded that Gogoya face him rather than hide from her mistake.

  • Nova and Junhe found a colossal steel warship hidden beneath the mountain and decided to leave it buried until the Tru Kingdom was strong enough to handle it.
  • Over the next two years, Nova trained his Armament Haki while perfume and cloth production transformed the kingdom's economy and living conditions.
  • After pirates seized a shipload of goods, Nova ordered a voyage to investigate and recover the cargo, leaving Junhe in charge of protecting the kingdom.
  • Nova departed Lokaka City amid cheering crowds and arrived at Naniwa Port, where Junhe presented his unnamed, hundred-meter-long royal ship.
  • When Junhe said Gogoya was hiding from Nova, Nova condemned her unwillingness to face her mistake and ordered Junhe to bring her over.

Ch. 11Leaving the Kingdom

Nova sailed from Naniwa Port aboard the National after learning that the Red-Haired Pirates had stolen the kingdom’s cargo. As the ship neared Reverse Mountain, a huge storm struck, and Nova split an enormous wave with Muramasa so the National could pass through.

  • Nova scolded Gogoya for hiding after the cargo was stolen, then told her to explain what had happened aboard the ship.
  • Gogoya reported that the Red-Haired Pirates had taken the cargo near Reverse Mountain, and Nova decided to continue sailing rather than search for them.
  • Nova learned Gogoya had not brought a Log Pose and instructed her to study navigation and the wider world.
  • After several dull days at sea, dark clouds and a towering wave approached the National, and Nova ordered the ship to face the wave head-on.
  • Nova drew Muramasa and cleaved the wave apart, allowing the National to pass through before the returning seawater rocked the ship.

Ch. 12The Navigator Who Received an Invitation

After a massive wave nearly wrecked the National, Nova captured the Barlow Pirates and took their treasure. He invited their navigator, Captain Barlow, to join the National, and Barlow began to reconsider after Nova offered to take in his crew too.

  • Nova calmed the soldiers after his sword slash parted the wave, then discovered the National’s only compass had broken.
  • Nova spotted a pirate ship approaching and boarded it alone before its crew could fire their cannons.
  • Captain Barlow surrendered with his fifty-one pirates and revealed they had about thirty million Beli in treasure, which Nova’s guards collected.
  • Nova learned Barlow was the ship’s navigator and heard how his crew had ridden the wave’s current to reach the National.
  • Nova invited Barlow to become the National’s navigator and offered places aboard the ship to his crew, prompting them to urge Barlow to accept.

Ch. 13Reverse Mountain's Countercurrent

Nova recruited Barlow and his former pirates as navigators, then led the National across Reverse Mountain into the East Blue. Just after surviving the crossing, they encountered a fleet of pirates, and Nova ordered his guards to capture their ships and spare the navigators.

  • Barlow agreed to serve Nova as navigator, and Nova destroyed the Barlow Pirates' old ship to discourage any disobedience.
  • Nova ordered Barlow to steer the National to the East Blue instead of entering the Grand Line, and the crew prepared to cross Reverse Mountain.
  • When the National neared the summit, Barlow warned that the currents might break its oversized wooden keel, so Nova reinforced it with Armament Haki.
  • The National crossed Reverse Mountain safely and entered the East Blue, where Nova decided the kingdom needed a sturdier ship.
  • A fleet of pirate ships surrounded the National, and Nova told his guards not to fire the cannons or damage the ships.
  • Nova ordered the guards to capture the pirate ships and leave their navigators alive for the kingdom.

Ch. 14Demon Pirates

Nova confronted Kamolong and the Demon Pirates, but Kamolong’s Thorn-Thorn Fruit caught him off guard and left him poisoned and weakened. Nova wrecked Kamolong’s ship and escaped with his crew, while the pirates let them go because they were guarding something hidden underwater.

  • Nova learned from Gogoya that the approaching Demon Pirates were led by Kamolong, whose bounty was 50 million Beli.
  • Nova boarded Kamolong’s ship and began fighting him, but Kamolong pierced him with spikes that drained his stamina and caused hallucinations.
  • Nova used Demon Blade Muramasa to slash apart Kamolong’s ship, then entered the sea to weaken the Devil Fruit effects and escape.
  • Nova returned to the National, and he and Kamolong’s crew withdrew without continuing the fight.
  • Nova collapsed on deck from the lingering toxins as the National sailed away, unaware that the Demon Pirates were protecting something beneath the water.

Ch. 15Loguetown, the Town of Beginnings and Endings

After recovering from his fight with Kamolong, Nova arrived in Loguetown and ordered his guards to seize pirate ships and sell their sails for money. He then sent Gogoya and Barlow to buy supplies while he explored the town alone.

  • Nova woke after two days unconscious, admitted he had been careless against Kamolong, and learned the ship was nearing Loguetown.
  • Gogoya announced the ship had reached Loguetown, where Nova saw the crowded harbor full of pirate ships and ordered the crew to go ashore for supplies.
  • Pirates tried to take the National, so Nova ordered Guard Captain Chiya and the guards to defeat them and auction off their ships' sails.
  • Nova told Gogoya that the Marines would not interfere because the fight was between a country and pirates, then sent her with Barlow to buy supplies while he explored Loguetown.

Ch. 16The Revolutionary Army Reveals Itself

Nova met Dragon, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, in Loguetown and rejected Dragon’s proposal to make Tru Kingdom a base for the movement. Afterward, Nova visited Roger’s execution platform while Marines watched from afar and his forces finished capturing and looting the pirates at the harbor.

  • Nova recognized Dragon and discussed the Revolutionary Army with him at the shore, criticizing its ideals and refusing to join or support it.
  • Dragon told Ivankov and the other Revolutionary Army members that they could not keep Nova after he left.
  • Nova visited the execution platform where Roger had died while Captain Kaku and Yuru observed him from a rooftop.
  • Captain Kaku told Yuru not to interfere with Nova, saying he was glad someone else was dealing with the pirates.
  • Nova’s guards captured the pirates with bounties and looted the pirate ships while Loguetown’s residents watched.

Ch. 17Conqueror's Haki

Nova learned that the Roa Kingdom and its pirate allies had attacked the Tru Kingdom, forcing him to race home from Loguetown. On the way, Kamolong’s fleet blocked his passage, and Nova fought him while the National’s guards searched the pirate ships for treasure.

  • Nova received Junhe’s report that the Roa Kingdom had invaded the Tru Kingdom and that pirates were attacking across the country, so he ordered his crew to sail home immediately.
  • Nova and his crew left Loguetown, crossed Reverse Mountain in less than a day, and found Kamolong’s pirate fleet blocking their route.
  • Kamolong’s pirates attacked the National, but Nova used Armament Haki and Conqueror’s Haki to incapacitate most of them before challenging Kamolong.
  • Nova fought Kamolong with Muramasa and evaded his Thorn-Thorn Fruit attacks using Observation Haki.
  • Chiya and the guards boarded the unconscious pirates’ ships and began loading their treasure, discovering more than a billion Beli aboard one ship.

Ch. 18Space-Space Fruit

Nova’s crew looted the Demon Pirates’ treasure and discovered an unknown Devil Fruit, which Nova identified as the powerful Space-Space Fruit and ate. As the National sailed back to the Tru Kingdom, the kingdom was losing islands to attacks from the Roa Kingdom and dozens of pirate crews.

  • Chiya’s guards gathered the Demon Pirates’ treasure but left behind a massive log they could not transport.
  • Nova defeated Kamolong but spared him, then explained that the Tru Kingdom needed to stay low-profile and avoid attracting the Marines and World Government.
  • Chiya and Gogoya showed Nova three Devil Fruits: the Cigarette Fruit, the Iron-Iron Fruit, and an unlisted blue fruit that the system identified as the Space-Space Fruit.
  • Nova ate the Space-Space Fruit and concealed his new ability from Gogoya and Chiya.
  • Nova ordered Barlow to return quickly as the National sailed toward the Tru Kingdom, a journey expected to take five days.
  • The Roa Kingdom and dozens of pirate crews attacked the Tru Kingdom, which had already lost two islands and faced growing civilian panic.

Ch. 19Furious Massacre

Nova returned to the Tru Kingdom and found pirates besieging the Royal City while the Roa Kingdom attacked elsewhere. He slaughtered hundreds of pirates, sent the King's Guard after the survivors, and left the kingdom secure for the moment as he recognized the need to strengthen its institutions and people.

  • Nova learned that roughly three thousand pirates were attacking the Royal City while Junhe resisted the Roa Kingdom's advance.
  • Nova rushed to the Royal City, ordered his guards to protect the civilians, and faced the pirates alone.
  • Nova used Demon Blade Muramasa to kill hundreds of pirates, terrifying the rest into fleeing.
  • Nova ordered his guards to capture the fleeing pirates and make them rebuild the damage they had caused.
  • Civilians welcomed Nova as a hero, and he resolved to address the Tru Kingdom's military and administrative weaknesses and strengthen its population.

Ch. 20Marine Headquarters

At Marine Headquarters, Sengoku called an emergency meeting after learning that the Tru Kingdom’s King’s Guard used the Marine Six Styles in battle. The Marines assigned Aokiji to investigate the kingdom, where Roa was attacking, and ordered him not to interfere in the war.

  • Sengoku asked Garp to become an Admiral, but Garp declined and suggested Tsuru instead.
  • Sengoku showed the officers footage of Nova’s soldiers using the Marine Six Styles in Loguetown, prompting concern about how the Tru Kingdom had learned the techniques.
  • Sakazuki offered to investigate and proposed eliminating those who knew the Marine Six Styles, but Sengoku rejected his approach.
  • Garp refused Sengoku’s request to investigate the Tru Kingdom, citing his upcoming break and his grandson.
  • Sengoku assigned Aokiji to investigate the Tru Kingdom and offered him a reserved Admiral position; Aokiji accepted.
  • Sengoku warned Aokiji not to interfere in the war between the Tru Kingdom and Roa Kingdom, and Aokiji worried aloud about encountering someone with Haki.
