Background & History

Zhixin was the youngest and most talented Right Wing Angel of Merlot Heavenly Court, as well as Hexi's youngest disciple. Hexi treats her like a daughter and wants her to retain the freedom to choose her own future rather than be assigned a marriage solely for political or genetic reasons. 9 27

Before meeting Su Luo, Zhixin led a small Angel team assigned to secretly protect Enixide in the Frazer Galaxy. Queen Kaisha abruptly recalled Zhixin and all Angels stationed there, ending the protection mission without sending replacements. 27 31

Hexi then ordered Zhixin to meet Yan, take over Yan's observation mission, and interact with Su Luo. Zhixin reviewed the limited information on Su Luo in the Sacred Knowledge Repository and was impressed by his composure after arriving in an unfamiliar universe. She concluded that Kaisha may have chosen him as a new future for the Angel Civilization and inferred that Hexi and Kaisha considered her a suitable guardian angel for him. 31

After querying the Gene Matching system, Zhixin found that her compatibility with Su Luo was 95.1%. Believing that Yan might also be interested in him, she resolved to become Su Luo's guardian angel before Yan could do so. 9 32

Zhixin met Yan near Su Luo's planet and formally took over the observation-and-contact assignment. Both Angels concealed their competing interest in Su Luo behind cautious, sisterly conversation. 33

When Akashi demanded that the Angels demonstrate they were not a threat, Zhixin began an oath to become Su Luo's guardian angel. Su Luo ordered Akashi to fire before either Zhixin or Yan could complete the oath. 35

Afterward, Zhixin helped explain Angel technology and the universe's power systems to Su Luo and Akashi. She later remained behind to guard Su Luo, Akashi, and Azi while Yan investigated a suspected demon presence. 36 42 Following Su Luo and Kaisha's agreement, Zhixin and Yan formally remained as his guards and were tasked with providing intelligence on demons and Karl. 49

Zhixin is described as a young-looking Angel with a cute little face and large eyes. After extended flight, she tidies her slightly disordered hair; when embarrassed, her face can flush deeply before returning to its usual pale color. 31 32 37

Zhixin is intelligent, observant, and highly analytical. She pieces together Kaisha's withdrawal from Frazer, Hexi's urgency, Su Luo's status, and the Gene Matching data to form her own conclusions about the Angel Civilization's plans. 31 32

She deeply trusts Hexi and does not resist her teacher's orders, believing Hexi would never harm her. Despite this loyalty, Zhixin wants to understand the reasoning behind major decisions rather than blindly accept them. 31

Zhixin admires courage and wishes to find “the bravest man in the entire universe.” Su Luo's calm response to being stranded in another universe gives her a favorable first impression, though she initially judges this only from recorded information. 30 31

Though usually straightforward and innocent, Zhixin becomes guarded around Yan once she suspects they are rivals for Su Luo. She withholds her deductions from Yan, feels guilty about doing so, and nevertheless chooses to pursue the mission herself. 33
