The Pedanium Unit-03 rose onto the battlefield on a lift platform, holding a long rifle.

Kaworu Nagisa took a bayonet from his shoulder armor and fitted it to the muzzle. The bayonet was equipped with a High-Frequency Vibration Device.
Kaworu Nagisa raised the rifle, aimed, and pulled the trigger. A barrage of red Light Bullets shot from the muzzle toward Sahaquiel.
Sahaquiel deployed an AT Field, repelling the incoming Light Bullets and sending them exploding in front of Unit-03.
"Its AT Field is just too powerful..." Kaworu Nagisa frowned.
The Pedanium Unit-03 was clumsier than the other EVAs, making evasive maneuvers difficult. Fortunately, King Joe's armor was still tough enough.
Sahaquiel's eyes flashed again, and a laser blasted Unit-03 square in the chest.
Dust instantly billowed into the air all around Unit-03.
Sahaquiel slowly approached the smoke.
"Destruction Beam, Pedanium Missiles, fire!"
White, lightning-like beams flashed from the twin openings on Unit-03's head. At the same time, several missiles launched from its back. These missiles had been manufactured using Pedanium Technology and were extremely precious.
Sahaquiel had no choice but to divide its AT Field among several areas to defend itself.
As a result, the AT Field in front of it was breached. The Destruction Beam swept across its body, leaving a long scar.
Sahaquiel recoiled in pain. Even its face had cracked, but its wounds still healed rapidly.
