Verokron had a missile launcher in his mouth. Missiles streamed out with flames trailing behind them, hurtling toward Unit-03.
Terrifying black-and-purple lightning erupted from Doragory's mouth.
Pedanium Unit-03 immediately deployed its golden Pedanium Shield, backing it up with an AT Field.
Boom! The black-and-purple lightning and missiles exploded against the Pedanium Shield together. Though they produced an enormous shower of sparks, fortunately, they caused little damage.
But if their attacks continued unchecked, it would only be a matter of time before the Pedanium Shield shattered.
The missile launch ports on Pedanium Unit-03's back opened, while the ground forces' tanks and self-propelled artillery fired at the two Super Beasts from behind the cover of buildings.
More than a dozen missiles roared from Unit-03's back, trailing long plumes of flame. Shells from the ground forces rained down on the Super Beasts as well. Explosions instantly engulfed Verokron and Doragory.
While the attacks distracted the Super Beasts, Pedanium Unit-03 retracted its shield and lunged toward Verokron, driving the bayonet on its Pedanium Cannon viciously toward his body.
Kaworu Nagisa considered Verokron the more dangerous enemy, so he attacked him first.
Shluck. The bayonet's tip sank into Verokron's body. The Particle Vibration System began vibrating, driving the bayonet deeper and deeper. Blood poured from the wound and splashed onto the ground.
