Kobeni was forced to confront the Eternity Devil’s heart alone and killed it, ending the hotel’s trap. The Public Safety Devil Hunters were finally free to leave the Morino Hotel.

After the group escaped the Eternity Devil's trap, they assumed Denji had killed it and dismissed Kobeni's claim that she had landed the fatal blow. Meng Fan revealed that Kobeni had killed the devil, leaving Himeno's promised reward kiss aimed at Kobeni instead.

• Arai spotted the outside world from the window, and the police below mistook the surviving Fourth Division members for possible devils.

• Natsume Fan Zhi warned Meng Fan not to make trouble or kill anyone inside the nightclub, then left him to enter alone with a VIP wristband.
• Meng Fan wandered away from the Black bodyguard, got a drink at the bar, and let the bodyguards lead him to a private room.
• Meng Fan found the Poppy Devil surrounded by drugged clubgoers and armed bodyguards, and the Fiend revealed it had arranged his arrival to recruit a powerful Devil Hunter.
• Meng Fan charged the Poppy Devil but appeared to be immobilized and made to spin, while the Fiend claimed it had betrayed him into coming there.
• The Poppy Devil asked about the Apple murder case, and Meng Fan realized another devil was responsible.
