"Rock Shark?"

"No."

"Rock Eagle?"

"No."

"Rock beast?"

"What's that? Bring it out and let me see."

At Xiu Yuan's words, Morax slowly raised his hand, and an enormous creature resembling a fierce tiger appeared before them.

"What can it do?" Xiu Yuan asked, looking at the creature before him.

"It runs fast, climbs trees, and is very agile. Most importantly, it looks awesome!"

Morax confidently introduced the creature before them, seemingly quite pleased with it.

"No," Xiu Yuan rejected it just as mercilessly.

"Huh? This one won't do either?" Morax asked, utterly deflated and deeply hurt.

"This thing isn't even as good as the Rock Shark or the Rock Eagle. At least those two can fly. What advantage could this one possibly have when all it does is run around on the ground?"

Xiu Yuan listed its shortcomings one by one. Heartbroken, Morax dispelled the rock beast, his eyes full of reluctance.

He had created all of them himself. Although they were not entirely real creatures, he had still put a great deal of thought and effort into making them, only for Xiu Yuan to reject every last one.

The blow devastated Morax's confidence. He slumped to the ground, staring blankly down as though something precious had been taken from him.

Seeing him like this, Xiu Yuan felt no sympathy.

His fondness for flashy gimmicks had to be corrected. Once he actually went into battle, those things would be less useful than a single sharp cone.

"You're only making these things because you want something flashy, but sacrificing power for looks isn't worth it," Xiu Yuan explained.

Like a sulking child, Morax said nothing. He remained where he was, seemingly mourning his departed creatures.

"How about this? I'll teach you a skill that's not just flashy, but hard-hitting too."
