When the Demon God saw that his attack had no effect on Morax's shield, his eyes narrowed. He seemed to grow serious as well.
"Winter Iceberg!"
The Demon God clenched his hand, and the tiny shards of crystallized ice seemed to come alive, instantly converging on Morax.
In moments, Morax was completely encased in ice. But it did not end there. More and more ice piled up, expanding visibly until the outline of a mountain emerged.
Even then, the Demon God did not stop. He seemed determined to seal Morax completely inside that mountain.
"Once the iceberg takes shape, no one can escape it quickly."
Seeing Morax frozen inside, he secretly congratulated himself.
Crack...
Crack...
Yet his delight was short-lived. Strange cracking sounds came from the ever-growing iceberg.
As the Demon God looked closer, he was shocked to discover a crack appearing on its surface.
Greatly alarmed, he immediately concentrated all the ice on that crack.
But it was already too late. As the cracks multiplied, the half-formed iceberg finally exploded with a bang!
Morax held a longbow and immediately nocked a slender arrow.
The Demon God swept his hand, and an exceedingly sharp ice spike shot up from the ground toward Morax.
Before the ice spike could reach him, Morax released his fully drawn bowstring.
Whoosh!
The arrow flew toward the Demon God at incredible speed.
At the same time, the powerful ice spike struck Morax's shield head-on, leaving two cracks in the stone barrier.
"A mere arrow." The Demon God immediately raised an enormous ice shield, sheltering himself entirely behind it.
"Open." At Morax's command, the arrow about to strike the ice shield instantly shed its outer casing and unleashed a second burst of force. Before the Demon God could react, it pierced the shield and punched through
