Eula was the captain of the Knights of Favonius Reconnaissance Company.
Her duty was to lead the company in hunting down monsters, members of the Abyss Order, and other enemies who might threaten Mondstadt.
So if she had come here while pursuing someone from the Abyss Order, that would make sense.
"I wouldn't exactly call it pursuing."
"To be precise, I was following them."
"I've been fighting the Abyss Order quite a lot lately. Two days ago, I noticed their members appearing frequently in this area, and I immediately realized something was wrong."
"Today, I finally found an opportunity. I spotted an Abyss Mage on its own, and my years of experience fighting the Abyss told me there might be some greater secret behind this."
"So I followed that Abyss Mage all the way here. But as soon as I reached the second stage, I got trapped in an iron cage."
"It was so strange. I clearly hadn't triggered any mechanisms, so why did an iron cage fall on me? And why were iron arrows shooting at me?"
"Ah, th-that must have been the Abyss Mage's doing!"
At the mention of this, Ellin jolted and hurriedly pinned the blame on the Abyss Mage.
"I see. That certainly fits the Abyss's devious ways."
Eula nodded, then looked at Ellin and Bennett. "Hey, why are you two panicking?"
"And Ellin, why are you making faces at Bennett?"
"No, no! When I split the stone door open just now, some grit got into my eyes. It was just a little uncomfortable, but I'm fine now."
"Didn't you say there were members of the Abyss Order in this Domain? We should hurry in and take a look. If they really are plotting something, we have to stop them!"
"You're right. There's no time to
