"Eternity..."
"Eternity..."
Ei kept murmuring the word "eternity." Sitting upright atop Mt. Tianheng, she gazed at the countless Sky Lanterns and sank into prolonged thought.
Before she knew it, it was late at night.
The night had deepened, and the lights of the once-bustling Liyue Harbor had gone out.
Sitting cross-legged on the summit, Ei began to regain focus in her distant eyes.
She emerged from her thoughts, her expression noticeably lighter. It seemed she had found a measure of peace.
"Sorry, Sky-Clearing. I made you stay with me so long without realizing it. It's already late."
"It's all right."
Ellin smiled. "Our journey through Mondstadt and Liyue is over. Is there anywhere else you'd like to go?"
"Not for now."
Ei shook her head. "This journey has given me a great deal to think about. Perhaps it's time I tried to change."
"Is that so? Then come with me to one last place."
Jueyun Karst
At the floating pavilion above the highest point of Qingyun Peak.
Ellin and Ei broke through the sea of clouds and soared high into the sky, arriving there.
"This is..."
When she broke through the clouds and saw the two people seated in the floating pavilion above Qingyun Peak...
Ei froze. Surprise crossed her face as she turned to Ellin with a questioning look, seemingly seeking an answer.
Ellin merely smiled. "You still have some questions, don't you?"
"You've come all this way. Go and see them."
"Ah..."
Ei let out a long sigh, then put on a gracious smile and descended to the pavilion on the stone platform suspended high in the sky.
"It's been a long time, my elders."
"Indeed it has."
Zhongli smiled and nodded.
"Long time no see, Ei!"
Venti grinned, his eyes narrowing as he waved to her.
