These were living, breathing people, not NPCs in some game.

With that thought, Zhong Baiye soon reached the underside of the enormous piece of plaustrite at the base of the Jade Chamber.

The green plaustrite, which had once radiated a peaceful aura, was now more than halfway consumed by a black presence.
