On the Platform at Herta Space Station, Arlan, head of the Security Department, reported quietly to Station Chief Asta.
"Phew, I'm so nervous." Asta took a deep breath. "I'll be seeing Chu Mu soon."
After a pause, she turned to Arlan and asked:
"Have all the things we ordered arrived?"
"Most of them have been signed for. The remaining items should arrive in the next few days. I've asked them to expedite delivery. There's just one exception-the seller of the Star Destroyer hasn't shipped it yet," Arlan reported honestly.
"The Star Destroyer still hasn't shipped?" Asta frowned. "What's going on? Didn't the seller say it would ship soon?"
"The Limited Pink-Paint Edition will take a little longer." Arlan shook his head. "Several key components are out of stock. The seller is pressing the supplier, but construction can't be completed until the parts arrive."
"Can't we pay extra?" Asta pressed.
"It's not a matter of paying extra." Arlan sighed. "The supplier's planet was attacked by the Swarm, and they're the only supplier in the entire Sea of Stars capable of manufacturing those components.
"The seller has offered three options. First, we wait for the Swarm crisis to end and the supplier to resume deliveries, though there's no telling how long that will take. Second, we remove the Optional Equipment and have them send us a standard-model Star Destroyer. Third, we cancel the order for a full refund."
