He tightened his grip on his sword, and the blood on the ground surged madly into the cracks in its blade.

At the sight, Chu Mu immediately sensed trouble.
He closed his Heavenly Eye and prepared to run.
Suddenly, the man stared intently at Chu Mu's face, then released his sword as though all his strength had drained away.

The man struggled to get up, then sat against the wall. After a moment of silence, he said in a low voice:

"Why aren't you trying to cut me down anymore?" Chu Mu asked.

"I get it. You're hiding from those Cloud Knights, and you're afraid your sword aura will give you away, right?"

Chu Mu thought this fellow was rather too quiet.
Just then, the man stood up, supporting himself with his sword, and said to Chu Mu:
