And with that, this book came to an end.
Many people have called this book a heartbreaker, but I don't see it that way. To me, Lion, this is a story full of warmth.
Compared with the cold cruelty of heartbreak, this book clearly has warmth to it.
Chu Mu's journey of growth was certainly difficult, but the people he met along the way were all so, so wonderful.
How many of those people who guided Chu Mu through life do you still remember?
This book certainly has its heartbreaking moments, but heartbreak isn't all there is to it.
I, Lion, think heartbreak accounts for 0.001 percent of it at most. #Insert cheeky doge face
Ahem, on a serious note, let's talk about what comes next for this book, and my plans for a new one.
When I posted the announcement about the ending, I read all your suggestions carefully.
Many readers suggested that I put this book on hold rather than end it. If I couldn't write original content, I could wait until the game released a new planet and then continue.
But you should all know my writing habits by now. I, Lion, tend to wait until the game's storyline is fully released before bringing it into the book.
And how long does it take for the game to finish releasing a new planet? Could an entire major version of the game take place on a single planet? There's no way to predict any of that.
This book can't go without updates for half a year, or even a year. That's far too long. Not only would it forcibly interrupt the readers' experience, it could even wear away the author's own creative drive.
I understand that you made those suggestions because you didn't want this book to end.
