Boom, boom, boom, boom!!!!!
Just as Sans had expected, the pink-haired human failed to use reversal.
She darted around on the ground, trying to dodge the blasts Sans fired.
Surprisingly, it proved remarkably effective against Sans's attacks. His Shock Waves really were not being fired that densely.
That gave Betty a chance to dodge.
"...Maybe I should change my strategy?"
Sans wiped the liquid from his melting face, and the sky blue in his eyes began to turn into towering blue flames.
Several times as many Shock Waves streamed out of the Void, all charging at the same time.
This round consumed even more magic than he had imagined. Without the determination injection, Sans would not have been able to withstand such excessive magic consumption.
At the sight, Gaster seemed to make up his mind. He reached back and grabbed Papyrus beside him, shoved the teleporter he had prepared into Papyrus's hand, and pressed the switch for him before he could react.
Whoosh!
Before Papyrus could stop him, it was already over.
He had been teleported somewhere safe.
After that incident, Gaster had prepared a sturdier teleporter in advance to avoid repeating the same mistake.
In fact, he had only come out to help fight Betty after making his preparations. He had not let impatience, regret, or impulse rob him of his reason.
Ding!
Magic took hold of Gaster.
"Sans! What are you doing?!..."
He had sent Papyrus away because he intended to stay here and fight alongside Sans.
His connection with Sans came from deep within their souls. That was precisely why he understood Sans's current condition better than anyone.
The determination Sans had injected was never going to last.
If Gaster stayed to help, once the two of them defeated the human, provided Sans had not melted completely...
