"All right... let me go over this."
Murder rubbed his brow and began trying to piece together the information OuterDust had just given him.
The journey was so long that all the scattered, out-of-order things OuterDust had told him as they walked amounted to an entire story, and he needed to sort out the sequence of events.

OuterDust stopped walking and took a sword out from inside her clothes.
"Speaking of which... let me show you something the humans here love doing."
The sword actually flew about with the movements of OuterDust's fingertips, displaying an elegance and agility that magic power could never produce.
And... Murder could not detect any trace of fluctuations in magic power, either.
"This is one example. In their words... sword control? This sword was meant for some rich kid here. I stole it."
OuterDust stopped just as she was about to tuck the sword back inside her clothes and handed it to Murder instead.
"I might as well give this to you. Consider it a greeting gift."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
