"Ready?"
DOM placed her hands on DMurder and Error Insanity, who had just fallen out of the Space-Time Rift.
DMurder nodded.
"Good. Goodbye. And remember, don't lose my soul fragment. After all, there's a certain [special contract] between us."
DOM put particular emphasis on those last two words, warning DMurder in a sense.
The old hag had tampered with Asriel's soul fragment long ago.

DMurder didn't particularly care. None of these schemes did him much harm anyway, so he didn't need to bother with them.
Honestly, the moment he discovered Fatal Error and Error Insanity were fighting, Murder knew DOM had been plotting this encounter.
It was all too convenient, any way he looked at it. They just happened to encounter an error-corrupted being who wanted to kill them.
And he just happened to be unable to die in a universe other than his own.
Those two things happening together couldn't possibly be a coincidence.
Pitch-black vapor poured out of DOM's body, enveloping both of them in magic and sending them to a transit hub of the Multiverse-

There were so many Anti-Voids in the Multiverse that entering any one of them would sever their connection to the world.
DMurder possessed the power to travel through space and time, but it wasn't enough yet. That was why he needed DOM's help.
DOM had the power to cross several space-times with a casual gesture, but her deep ties to the world instead hindered her ability to leave it.
That was why she absolutely needed Murder's help.
I might not have told you this, but DOM had already laid the groundwork for several things.
