Insanity shook her head and clenched her fists tightly.

Insanity's fist punched through the phantom Toriel's chest, and the apparition instantly turned to ash.
"...Are nothing but illusions driving me into madness."
Once she had sorted that out, Insanity stopped paying attention to the phantoms calling out to her, mocking her, or even cursing her.
She swung her fists, shattering every phantom around her.
But those phantoms could never be destroyed completely.
After Insanity smashed one phantom with her fists, even more would appear.
"These phantoms... There's no end to them."
Insanity glanced back. Sure enough, that eerie hedgehog had caught up.
His face was pitch-black now, apparently covered in darkness.
His body was no better. Insanity could only make out two spots of bright red in that mass of shadow-his eyes.
Suddenly, the shadow took on the terrifying appearance of Papyrus and lunged at Insanity.

Insanity dodged swiftly. She no longer steered clear of those eerie apparitions, because that fake Papyrus was simply too fast.
She had no time to think. Avoiding his attacks had to come first.
Suddenly, Insanity crashed into a wall.
Before Insanity could react, the shadow Papyrus opened his mouth wide, revealing countless eyes inside, and lunged to bite her.
At the last possible moment, Insanity's madness state timed out, and every horrifying sight before her vanished.
Insanity was the only one left in the empty Chemical Factory.
Insanity's constricted pupils slowly widened. The sweat on her back had already soaked through her underwear.
"That was terrifying..."
