Ye Yu plunged into the Starting Flower Field.
He raised his head in bewilderment, as though he had only just come to his senses.
Suddenly, he felt something strike his back. He sprang up and leaped away.
Linde and Frisk stood before him.
Linde watched Ye Yu with some apprehension. He had just driven a portion of his soul power into Ye Yu, after all, and he was not sure whether it would awaken his emotions.
"Well? You're free of LOVE's control now, right?" Linde asked, stepping closer.
"Linde..." Ye Yu gave him a strange look. He could feel that something had been controlling him before.
If, as Linde said, LOVE had been controlling him, then that meant... that guy really had lied to him.
Watching the shifting expressions on Ye Yu's face, Linde breathed a sigh of relief. It looked like his emotions had awakened.
Suddenly, Ye Yu leaped backward. "What did you just do to me?"
Linde waved his hands. "We just gave you your emotions back so we could talk."
Ye Yu took stock of himself and found that the strange, hollow feeling from before had disappeared. Coupled with the faint joy in his heart, it seemed his emotions really were back.
Still, he wanted to hear what Linde actually thought, and why that guy was so hostile toward him.
"You should know that if we leave the monsters alive, they'll definitely become a threat to humanity's survival." Ye Yu wanted to hear Linde's thoughts.
Frisk froze. She had never considered that question before. As two entirely different species, how could monsters and humans possibly trust each other so easily?
But Linde smiled and offered an answer. "You must have seen Asgore's mindscape already, right?"
Ye Yu paused, immediately recalling everything he had seen and heard then.
