"Harry?"
The instant Harry collapsed, Moody came limping over on his wooden leg at remarkable speed from whatever corner he had been lurking in.
He was not the only one. The music on the dance floor had stopped, and quite a crowd had gathered around.
Tris was crouching beside Harry, but before he could touch him, Moody roughly pulled him away.
"Don't touch him! He could be under a curse, dark magic, or some other nasty business. If it spreads to anyone else, we'll have trouble," Moody said gruffly.
If Tris had not already known who this man really was, he probably would have lost his temper right then.
Ignoring the strange looks from everyone around him, Moody drew his wand and lightly tapped Harry. A ripple of magic spread out, then vanished.
"Not a curse..."
He tried another spell as he spoke, producing another ripple of magic.
"Doesn't seem to be any trace of common dark magic, either... odd..."
Watching Harry from the side, Tris saw that although he was unconscious, his brows were tightly knitted, as though he was suffering some kind of pain.
"Alastor, let's take Harry to the Hospital Wing first." Dumbledore's gentle, calm voice came from nearby, quickly settling the rather panicked crowd.
Dumbledore's voice always seemed to contain magic, able to calm people down almost instantly...
Huh?
Tris suddenly narrowed his eyes slightly. He could faintly sense an extremely subtle ripple of magic emanating from Dumbledore. If he had not cultivated his primordial spirit and sharpened his perception enough, he might never have noticed it.
So it didn't just seem magical. Had Dumbledore's words actually contained magic that put people at ease?
That old fox Dumbledore really knew his stuff.
Tris was genuinely envious. No wonder Dumbledore was considered the greatest master of magic
