Su Er followed Hermione around Diagon Alley, and by the time they returned, Ron had already left through the fireplace with Scabbers.
"Mr. Weasley took him to the Ministry. They've been very busy lately, trying to catch the prisoner who escaped from Azkaban."
"Sirius Black?" Hermione asked. While she and Su Er had been wandering around Diagon Alley earlier, they had heard plenty of people discussing it, with that name cropping up now and then.
"Yes." Harry nodded. "Mr. Weasley said everyone in the Ministry is working on that right now. Oh, right, a car will come to take us to King's Cross Station tomorrow. We won't have to take the Underground ourselves."
Mr. Tom's cooking was excellent, and Su Er, Harry, and Hermione enjoyed a delicious meal. Dinner was included in the cost of their rooms.
After dinner, the three gathered in Harry's room and unpacked the Gobstones set Harry had just bought. It was a marble game suitable for several players, and the stones would squirt a foul-smelling liquid into the faces of those who lost points.
Early the next morning,
Su Er had just woken up when he heard a commotion outside his door. Soon, a loud banging came at the door. He yawned and rolled out of bed. As he passed the mirror on the wall, a shout came from inside it.
"You'd better straighten your pyjamas! Your underpants are showing! What a slob!"
Su Er ignored it, reached out to unfasten the door chain, and unlocked the door.
Two figures darted inside, one after the other. They were Fred and George.
"Hey, good morning."
"Old friend, how wonderful it is to see you-" Fred gave Su Er a very proper bow.
"Absolutely marvellous." George shoved Fred aside and, waggling his eyebrows, grabbed Su Er's hand.
