Everyone seemed to have grown used to Malfoy insisting on stirring up trouble in Care of Magical Creatures.
The young wizards might have been young, but they were not stupid. Besides, Hagrid had given them tangible benefits. Apart from those who had to suck up to Malfoy, no one-including the vast majority of Slytherins-joined him in targeting Hagrid anymore.
