Su Er emerged from the secret passage with light steps. Repeating his earlier trick, he immobilized the Whomping Willow, then strolled back to the Castle.
Luckily, that hadn't taken long, though I'm a little hungry.
Beating people up really is hard work. Dinner should still be a while away.
I'll go rummage around the dormitory for something to tide me over first.
As Su Er climbed into the barrel, a young Hufflepuff witch happened to be coming out, and they came face-to-face.
Her smile instantly froze on her face, then gradually vanished, and then she turned pale-three changes in one face.
Her mouth opened slightly, and a scream loud enough to pierce the thick walls erupted.
Aaaah!!! (Screaming groundhog)
A crowd came rushing over, some still holding food. Good grief, was the celebration still going?
"Who are you?" Cedric pushed through the crowd and stepped forward, asking in a grave voice.
The wariness on his face suddenly reminded Su Er of something he had overlooked... He hadn't removed his disguise.
Under the hostile gazes of the young badgers, Su Er drew his wand, pointed it at his face and throat, and quietly cast Finite Incantatem twice.
The cold sensation on his face and the blockage in his throat instantly disappeared.
"Su Er?" Cedric asked uncertainly.
"Yes, yes, it's me." Su Er coughed softly a few times. After his throat had been blocked for so long, the sudden relief felt as wonderful as a chronic rhinitis sufferer's nose abruptly clearing.
(That's exactly how I am! It feels amazing after I use the medicine, like my whole body suddenly opens up. Unfortunately, it gets blocked again once the medicine wears off. Damn rhinitis.)
