Ron, Harry, Ginny, and the dark-skinned boy went to Honeydukes together. Hermione made the excuse that she needed to buy a new quill at Scrivenshaft's Quill Shop and agreed to see them back at the castle.
Instead, she returned to the Hog's Head.
Of course, Su Er was in her arms.
"What are we coming back for?" Hermione asked quietly.
Su Er looked around the Hog's Head. The strange man wrapped in bandages and the two wizards covered tightly in wizard robes were gone. The witch, however, was still sitting beside the fireplace, her head nodding as though she were about to fall asleep.
Under Hermione's astonished gaze, Su Er jumped out of her arms and transformed back into his original form.
"Are you mad? Don't forget what Dumbledore told you." Hermione looked back in a panic. Fortunately, the Hog's Head's door was already closed.
"It's all right. Everyone here is on our side." Su Er gave Hermione a slight smile, then greeted the old man behind the counter, who kept wiping bottles.
"Hi, Aberforth. How are you?"
Aberforth twitched the corners of his mouth at him, then looked at the witch beside the fireplace, his face gloomy. Clearly, he too had noticed something wrong with this witch.
"Then... she..." Hermione also turned her gaze toward the fireplace.
"Oh, you've met her before, at Grimmauld Place." Su Er walked toward the fireplace.
The witch seemed genuinely asleep. Su Er could even hear faint snores.
"Aren't you going to say something?"
As though just waking from sleep, he gave Su Er a "blank" look.
"Young man, is there something you need?"
"Mundungus, I know it's you." Su Er did not answer the question, exposing the witch's identity outright.
That was right. This witch was one of the members of the Order
