When Su Er walked out of Gringotts, the entrance was still bustling. Every so often, a goblin would call out, "This distinguished customer wishes to visit the vaults..."
After putting his key safely close to his body, Su Er checked his bearings, then walked down the marble steps toward Flourish and Blotts, where he had arranged to meet Hermione.
Flourish and Blotts was packed with wizards, mostly middle-aged women. Their noisy chatter and occasional shrieks assaulted Su Er's eardrums, making him frown.
"Gilderoy Lockhart, signing copies of his autobiography-Magical Me."
Looking at the banner stretched across the upstairs windows of the bookshop, Su Er sighed. Clearly, finding someone in such a crowded place in a short time was not very realistic.
I'll find somewhere to wait until the crowd disperses.
Su Er glanced at the small print at the very end of the banner-[Today, 12:30-16:30].
At some point, the shop next to Flourish and Blotts had changed hands. What had once been an ice cream shop was now a pet shop.
It seemed to sell only one kind of little creature-Puffskeins. Su Er recognized them; he had even used their fur to make scarves last year.
"This is a new breed we've developed. Although they're still Puffskeins, not all Puffskeins are the same."
The shop assistant welcomed Su Er enthusiastically, following him around and talking nonstop.
"Thanks to our breeding and training, they won't stick their tongues up your nostrils anymore."
"Just look at them. So gentle and adorable."
"They're perfect gifts for your girlfriend. Look at this pink one. I bet no little girl could turn it down."
"How much is this one?" Su Er asked curiously.
