Harry was in the Library, just as expected, struggling miserably alongside Ron.
There was really no choice. It was already Sunday, and their assignments for every subject were due on Monday.
Compared with Ron and Harry, who were scribbling furiously, Hermione looked much more relaxed, leafing through a book.
Su Er sat down beside Hermione with a stack of books in his arms.
He had finished his homework too. As long as he did it with Hermione, it did not count as "borrowing"-only discussion.
"What are these books?" Hermione picked up Foundational Theory of Spells and flipped through it curiously.
"I just got back from Professor McGonagall's. These are the books she recommended I read," Su Er explained, casually taking a book from the stack and opening it.
"What spell is it?" Hermione became interested.
"A technique for casting spells." Su Er pushed the papyrus covered in notes toward her. "You can take a look if you're interested."
As the saying went, two heads were better than one. Su Er certainly did not mind having someone else study with him, especially when that someone was Hermione.
Besides, Professor McGonagall had not stressed that he could not share this knowledge with anyone else.
Su Er also planned to share it with Cedric. That top fourth-year student would certainly be able to offer some excellent help.
Harry and Ron were not particularly interested in what Su Er and Hermione were whispering about. They exchanged a glance, shrugged, rubbed their wrists, then miserably bent their heads and got back to work.
Tap, tap, tap... At eight o'clock sharp, Madam Pince tapped her feather duster against a bookshelf.
Only then did Su Er notice that it was already eight in the evening, closing time.
Harry and Ron had to put down their quills too.
