Everyone craned their necks, almost wishing they could press their Brass Telescopes into their eye sockets as they followed Harry and Krum.

The Champions who had dared to follow them earlier were all lying on the ground, waiting for treatment. Only two figures remained in the air, streaking along like arrows loosed from a bow at astonishing speed.

Were they going to crash into the ground, just like before?

Sirius gripped his Crystal Glass Goblet tightly, staring intently at the enormous Magical Projection. Beside him, Kreacher clutched an equally enormous wine bottle.

His eyes were wide, and he was every bit as nervous as Sirius for his master's godson.

The next moment, Sirius let out a disappointed sigh, covered his forehead, and sank back onto the sofa.

In the projection, both Krum and Harry scattered in different directions like startled birds.

Because...

"URAAAA!!!!"

An enormous White Poplar came hurtling toward them. The Champion riding it wore a Shamrock Tracksuit and Goggles, his face alight with fervor.

Even the usually dour Krum paled a little. He hurriedly put his superb flying skills to use, deftly turning his Firebolt aside.

Harry made the same choice almost simultaneously, narrowly dodging the Koldovstoretz Champion who had come to disrupt their duel.

This kid isn't easy to deal with. / Krum really is good.

They crossed paths in the air again, but this time, both their faces had grown more serious.

Watching the two clash below, Martins gave a cold smile. He plucked a small, tender green sprig from the strange Broomstick beneath him.

He raced toward the key. By the time he drew close, several long branches had somehow sprouted from the tail of his Broomstick. Covered in fresh buds, they were supple and flexible, waving through the air like newly grown twigs.
