"Drip."
Water dripped from the dark, damp ceiling, sending ripples spreading through a puddle in the corner.
Ron squirmed twice and let out a pained groan. He clambered up from the floor in confusion, his wet red hair plastered to his forehead.
Where am I?
He looked around. The room was built from rough blocks of stone, with dimly glowing stones set into the walls providing a meager amount of light.
Pools of water lingered on the uneven floor. The entire room was cold and dark. In the faint glow, he spotted his wand lying on the floor a short distance away.
My wand!
Ron hurriedly struggled forward. He had barely stood up when a piercing pain shot through his ankle. He cried out in agony and fell onto the cold floor again.
He slowly crawled forward a couple of paces and grasped his wand. Only when he felt that familiar connection, as close as his own flesh and blood, did his panic ease a little.
"Lumos."
A soft light shone at the tip of his wand. Ron sat up and examined his ankle. After removing his diving sock, he discovered that it had swollen terribly.
Clearly, he had injured it in the fall.
How did this happen?
One moment, they had been cheering, everyone shouting happily through their communicators to celebrate finding a way out. The next, the floor had suddenly split open.
The immense suction had caught them all off guard, dragging them straight into an endless abyss.
The seawater had swept them along. Ron only remembered hitting something before his vision went black and he lost consciousness.
With a bitter smile, he felt his head. There was a lump there too. That must have been where he hit it...
Where is everyone? Where are the others?
*Right,
