Tony slid down the metal frame and shouted, "Give me a suit of armor!"

Reaching the end, Tony leaped.

A waiting suit of armor had already opened its back for him.

Just then, the shock wave from an explosion blasted a chunk of metal into the air.

It landed squarely on the armor.

The armor plunged down, and Tony went into free fall.

"JARVIS! JARVIS!"

Tony roared in midair as a snapped steel cable whistled past his ear. The ground was getting closer and closer, but the armor still couldn't reach him.

Just before Tony could become a Stark meat patty, John's voice rang out.

"Instead of calling JARVIS, why not pray for the Wizard King's blessing?"

Tony looked over. John was falling alongside him, his arms folded in perfect composure.

"Thank God! Save me, John!"

John's appearance gave Tony an enormous sense of security.

John held out his wand. "Grab the wand."

Tony reached for it with all his strength. It felt as though he had fallen into a narrow pipe and was spinning endlessly inside it.

By the time he landed again, Tony was vomiting his guts out.

Looking thoroughly vindicated, John pulled back his wand. Good thing he'd kept his distance, or he would have been puked on.

Tony threw up until his mouth tasted sour.

He looked at John, questioning his entire existence. "Tell me you weren't here from the start."

"Sorry to disappoint you, but I was." John shrugged. "I even saved the president while I was at it."

"What are you looking at? Weren't you the one who told me to save him?"

John was utterly unapologetic, while Tony looked deeply aggrieved.

The thought of John watching his desperate flight like a spectator enjoying a chase between monkeys made him feel sick all over
