"Surrender, Steve Rogers. Captain America."

Darren held Bucky's arm in his hand. "You have no chance of winning."

"I always thought you'd be hiding away at the National Defense Base, quietly doing your research." Tony looked at Darren. "Is this your research project?"

"One of them." Darren spread his hands. "Thaddeus Ross thinks you're taking too long, so I had to come show him the results."

As Darren was a partner of Stark Industries, Tony naturally knew who he was.

Cross Technologies specialized in serving the military's superhuman sector.

Rather than missiles and the like, their research focused on creating superhumans.

If this project succeeded, it would change the balance of power across the world.

Darren's Yellowjacket Suit could shrink, and Darren Particles could replicate the effects of Pym Particles. Fully cracking Pym Particles was only a matter of time.

Darren was already reaping the rewards of the age of superheroes.

Even Tony had to take this man seriously now, though he had once been nowhere near Tony's level.

"What about you?" Steve looked warily at Night Ghost, who stood poised to strike. This man's physical abilities rivaled his own. "Are you working for the military too?"

"The military?" Night Ghost gave a low chuckle. "I'm here for justice."

"If you're here for justice, you should know what kind of damage Hydra will do to this world if we keep wasting time."

"Is that so? Unfortunately, you aren't the sun that lights my way. I won't follow your orders, Steve Rogers."

He would not call Steve Captain America, because that man was no longer worthy of the shield in his hand.

Now it was a three-way standoff, with a somewhat unhinged Night Ghost thrown into the mix.

Both Tony and Steve felt the situation slipping out of their control.
