"Yes, I've thought about it." Sersi looked at her boyfriend, who was younger than her by who knew how many years, and gave her answer. "I can't move in with you."
Despite his hopes, Dane tried to sound casual when he heard her answer. "I figured you'd say that."
"I'm sorry," Sersi said apologetically.
"We've been through so much together," Dane said. "Alien invasions. For all we know, we could go through another one someday."
They had lived through the arrival of the Dark Elves, then faced Thanos' Army.
One day, he might die because of aliens.
