The air smelled of ozone, the scent of negative oxygen ions produced when high-voltage electricity broke down the air. One of the Mecha held two whips crackling with electricity and lashed them at Hulk.
No one wanted to find out what being struck felt like, but Hulk was no longer human...
A green hand caught the Cable armor's whip. The powerful current made Hulk's thick hair stand on end, and a plume of white smoke rose from his head.
But even that high voltage did nothing beyond singeing Hulk's hair.
Tony had stopped standing around on the sidelines. Seeing Hulk pull the armor toward him by its electric cable, he frowned. As both Ivan's rival and his partner, he knew exactly how powerful those two electrified whips were.
"This big guy is too strong!"
He had already decided that once he got back, he would develop a suit of armor specifically to deal with this green fellow.
He contacted Ivan through the armor's internal communicator and said bluntly, "We have to find a way to get him out of New York City. He's causing far too much damage!"
Ivan's voice remained calm. "I know. I'm already doing it!"
The other two suits of armor sprang into action. One extended another pair of electric cables and wrapped them around Hulk. Hulk immediately reached out to tear them free, but Ivan gave him no chance. The Titan armor that had engaged him first discarded its battered shield. The Plasma Thrusters on its back shone blue, their powerful thrust driving its heavy body rapidly toward Hulk.
It slammed into Hulk with a bang. Amid a series of mechanical clicks, the Titan armor locked down his arms and torso.
Then the thrusters beneath all three suits of armor lit up, and they rose into
