"Finally found it!!"
Yang Bo stared darkly at the Maze Map in his hand. Only after exploring every location on the half-meter-square map had he finally found the final boss's lair. Still, he had opened plenty of treasure chests along the way, so he wasn't sure whether that counted as good luck or bad.
Although he hadn't found any new wands, he had picked up some decent Spellbooks, plenty of vis crystals, and a few accessories.
The labyrinth was utterly quiet, with only Yang Bo's footsteps breaking the silence as he approached the room housing the minotaur labyrinth's final boss, the Minoshroom.
The boss occupied a room covered in mycelium and enclosed by fences on all four sides.
The Minoshroom had a bizarre appearance, half mooshroom and half Minotaur. It held a diamond battleaxe and looked much like a centaur, except with a bull's head.
"What a nobody. It doesn't even get a boss health bar. It's just a regular mob with extra health!"
Normally, whenever Yang Bo approached a boss in the Twilight Forest, a health bar would appear across his field of vision. The Minoshroom's health bar, however, simply hovered above its own head. If defeating it weren't required before he could go kill the Hydra, he wouldn't have bothered coming here. It was nothing but a waste of time.
He took another two steps forward and entered the Minoshroom's detection range. The boss, which had been playing statue inside the room, immediately turned and fixed its gaze on him.
Its four legs began moving rapidly, as though driven by clockwork.
Yang Bo laughed dismissively. "I haven't even taken down the wooden fence yet. What are you going to do, fly over it and hit me... Fuck, is this some brand-spanking-new version?"
Before he finished speaking, Yang Bo
