Yang Bo, who had been back home for seven days, opened his eyes in bed. Gazing at the familiar ceiling, he murmured:
"The seven days are up. Time to check on the Quantum Tunnel."
For the past seven days, he had cared about nothing but fishing, shopping, sightseeing, and playing games with Skye. If Ivan hadn't called to tell him that the Quantum Traversal Device was finished, he might still have been lost in Skye's warm embrace.
After all, Skye could vibrate now.
Without waking Skye beside him, he got out of bed alone and began rummaging through everything. He dug out a large quantity of materials and crafted plenty of Teleportation Stone Tablets and teleportation scrolls.
The Teleportation Stone Tablets were extremely simple to use. Placing a hand on a tablet activated it, allowing travel between any activated tablets.
In the game, short-distance teleportation cost nothing, while long-distance travel consumed experience points. In reality, however, Yang Bo had discovered that the Teleportation Stone Tablets required no experience points at all. They were completely free to use.
He set up a Teleportation Stone Tablet and opened its teleportation menu. Universe Three was the only destination listed, and he nodded in satisfaction.
"Now I won't have to drag Kaecilius around every day. This is so much more convenient."
Kaecilius was certainly useful, but having him around made certain private matters awkward. For instance, Yang Bo wanted to check out that planet that catered specifically to the Ravagers. Bringing Kaecilius along could easily damage his image as the boss.
He then crafted some more teleportation scrolls and Return Scrolls.
Teleportation scrolls let him open the Teleportation Stone Tablet interface anywhere, effectively serving as convenient portable tablets, while Return Scrolls could quickly take him back to the nearest Teleportation Stone Tablet.
