Already numb to it all, Raven followed Yang Bo to Dr. Banner's laboratory.
Yang Bo paused when he reached the entrance, because he spotted Cull Obsidian. He was sitting on the ground, leaning motionless against the laboratory's outer wall.
Although Cull Obsidian's expression was hard to read, Yang Bo could still sense his utter despair.
Raven also noticed the motionless Cull Obsidian and instinctively assumed he was a statue. After all, as far as she knew, no person or creature could possibly look like that.
She was curious, but she didn't ask. Mostly because everything around her piqued her curiosity, and she couldn't possibly ask about it all.
Yang Bo didn't bother with Cull Obsidian either, whose brain was ninety percent muscle. The fellow had a one-track mind. After receiving Thanos's orders, all he did was follow Hulk around all day. In his mind, Hulk was stronger than him, so he would follow Hulk.
After passing through a long, narrow tunnel, they reached the entrance to Banner's Biological Laboratory. Stepping inside brought them into a small glass room. It was empty, but they could clearly see into the laboratory, where numerous people in white protective suits were busily calibrating equipment.
Yang Bo's arrival drew the attention of those inside. Before long, someone approached and glanced at him. It was Dr. Banner, the man in charge.
After spotting Yang Bo, Dr. Banner left through another door. A moment later, a knock sounded, and Dr. Banner came in.
Yang Bo asked with a smile, "How's the laboratory coming along? Is it ready to use?"
Banner pushed up his glasses with a finger and explained seriously:
"It's almost ready. Apart from a few pieces of specialized equipment, everything has been calibrated, so we can begin some preliminary research."
Yang Bo nodded in satisfaction.
