General Zod stared at the mothership-class spacecraft before him.
He simply could not accept what he was seeing.
"Damn it, how could Earth have a force like this?"
Had Kryptonian civilization still been at its peak, he would not have cared about this somewhat outdated mothership. But the vessel he was piloting now was not a warship at all. It was a Kryptonian exploration ship.
It had combat capabilities, but compared with the mothership before him, it was a toy. He certainly did not believe those gun ports on the enemy mothership were just for show.
"Move out..."
As the voice over the communicator fell silent, several small vessels emerged from the mothership.
Furious, Zod raised his fist and slammed it onto the control console. Three seconds had not even given him time to react. They were clearly toying with him. When he had demanded Carl yesterday, he had at least given Earth twenty-four hours.
"General, their small vessels are approaching rapidly. Shall we open fire?"
Zod looked at the scene outside the window. A vicious glint flashed through his eyes, and he immediately gave the order.
"Open fire. Destroy every approaching ship and head toward Earth. We have no chance of winning in space."
As decisive and ruthless as General Zod was, he still had the courage to fight with his back against the wall.
At his command, several energy beams shot from the ship and struck the vessels attempting to approach them.
But the energy beams had no effect. Blue barriers blocked their attacks, and the enemy ships merely rocked twice before immediately returning fire.
Yang Bo stood aboard the mothership, watching the Kryptonian ship fly toward Earth, and immediately said, "Shoot it down."
"The enemy actually dared to refuse surrender and attack us."
Whether they lived or
