Ever since he had clawed his way up to become the lord of the Nether, not a single demon had dared speak to him like that.
Yang Bo was a little stunned, too. As far as he knew, Mephisto was already among the strongest demons, especially in the Marvel Universe. Aside from Satan, who had disappeared, the other demons were at most only somewhat stronger than Mephisto, such as Dormammu, a mutated sort of Demon Lord.
But even Dormammu might not dare act so arrogantly. He could overpower Mephisto, but if Mephisto decided to hound him and cause trouble, even Dormammu would have a headache.
For instance, Kaecilius had become a Believer of Dormammu and wanted to devour Earth, yet Mephisto only needed to squeeze in a sliver of his projection to pin Kaecilius to the ground and wipe the floor with him.

Yang Bo looked at the black mist, which was still ranting, and spoke softly with a smile.
Mephisto smiled as well, having guessed what Yang Bo had in mind, and took a deep breath.
The black mist immediately lost its form and was sucked entirely into his body. Excitement then shone in his eyes.

Yang Bo nodded slightly, took out a cigarette, and handed it to Mephisto, who accepted it without ceremony.

Mephisto likewise took a deep drag on his cigarette. One look at the way he smoked was enough to tell that he was a seasoned smoker.
