"Kaecilius... I have an idea."
Yang Bo sidled up to Kaecilius with a broad smile, his eyes fixed hungrily on the curved horns on his head.
Kaecilius took two steps back and said expressionlessly, "No, you don't."
Yang Bo: "..."
"How does it feel to be a Demon Lord?"
At that question, a smile appeared on Kaecilius's face. "Pretty good."
"Especially when I'm inside my own domain."
Yang Bo nodded. What was the point of becoming a Demon Lord? Surely it wasn't to raise succubi?
Well...
That was only one of the reasons.
The most important thing was hiding one's soul in the Nether. As long as you didn't run into someone in the same line of work, or someone who blew the Nether apart, you were essentially immortal.
Kaecilius looked at Angie La behind Yang Bo and asked quietly, "Does the boss lady know?"
"It's not like that at all. She needed help with something, and since I had nothing to do, I brought her along on my way here."
Yang Bo hurried to explain. He was a good man who kept his nose clean. He couldn't let anyone get the wrong idea.
I smoke, drink, and watch other people strip, but I know I'm a good man.
Under Kaecilius's suspicious gaze, Yang Bo entered the room and saw a somewhat exhausted Mephisto. Apparently, giving Kaecilius a portion of his power hadn't been easy.
This was a division of authority, not merely power.
"Are you all right?"
Mephisto smiled. "It's like giving birth."
For a moment, Yang Bo had no idea how to respond.
"That's certainly an original comparison."
Then something else occurred to him, and he looked Mephisto up and down. Before he could speak, Mephisto said bluntly, "Stop looking. Most demons have no sex, but I'm male."
